Terms & conditions

1. Scope

These General Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings and contracts relating to the rental of the holiday home Maison d'Azur | Port Grimaud in France between the landlord and the guest.


2. Booking and Conclusion of Contract

By submitting a booking enquiry, the guest makes a binding offer to the landlord to enter into a tenancy agreement. The contract is concluded as soon as the booking is confirmed in writing by the landlord (e.g. by email).


3. Prices and Terms of Payment

All prices quoted are final prices and include [e.g. electricity, water, internet, final cleaning and tourist tax – please state the exact number of guests.

Payment is to be made as follows:

  • Deposit: 50% within 7 days of booking confirmation
  • Balance: no later than 1 month before arrival

For last-minute bookings, the full amount is due immediately.


4. Arrival and departure

Check-in: from 4.00 pm

Check-out: by 10.00 am

Individual arrangements are possible subject to availability.


5. Security deposit

The landlord is entitled to request a security deposit of €500. This will be refunded after departure and upon the holiday home being returned in good condition.


6. Withdrawal and cancellation

The guest may withdraw from the contract at any time prior to the start of the holiday.

The following cancellation conditions apply:

  • up to 30 days before arrival: free of charge
  • after that: 100% of the rental price

The date of receipt of the notice of withdrawal is decisive. We recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance.


7. Use of the holiday home

The holiday home may only be used by the number of people specified in the booking. Parties and events are not permitted unless expressly agreed. The guest undertakes to treat the holiday home with care.


8. Pets

Pets are not permitted.


9. Liability

The landlord shall not be liable for: Loss of or damage to items brought onto the premises Outages of electricity, water or internet, provided these were not caused intentionally or through gross negligence The guest shall be liable for any damage caused by them to the holiday home.


10. Force majeure

In the event of unforeseeable circumstances (e.g. natural disasters, official orders), the contract may be terminated by either party without further claims.


11. Final provisions

The law of the country in which the holiday home is located (France) shall apply. Should any individual provisions be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
